Method Man, whose real name is Clifford Smith, was born on April 1, 1971 in Hempstead, New York (United States). The separation of his parents disturbs him and he will experience a delicate adolescence between odd jobs with no future and drug trafficking. Writing and hip-hop are his true passions. He quickly stood out for his texts and his flow and became a member of the Wu-Tang Clan collective in the early nineties. The group will release five albums between 1993 and 2007 on which Method Man is still present. But it is in solo that Method Man will obtain the greatest success.
